We are seeking a strategic Head of Operations to lead our Materials & Logistics department, ensuring the seamless delivery of 12 million examination scripts annually. Based in Milton Keynes or Manchester, you will be a key member of our Operations Senior Leadership Team, driving operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our logistics and materials functions.

With responsibility for multi-million-pound budgets, you will lead a large team of permanent and seasonal staff, overseeing risk management, quality assurance, and innovation in our print and logistics operations. You’ll bring proven leadership in logistics, a data-driven approach, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships while driving cultural change and efficiency improvements.

You will bring proven leadership experience in logistics operations, alongside a strategic mindset and expertise in operational planning. Strong stakeholder management skills and a data-driven approach will be essential, as will the ability to handle complex information effectively. We are particularly interested in candidates with a track record of driving cultural change and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
